Happy Hollow Old-Time Music Gathering Returns September 24–27, 2026

A weekend-long celebration of Appalachian Music, Art, and Culture

Mark your calendars to join us at Snow Fork Event Center in Nelsonville, Ohio for our 4th Annual Happy Hollow Old-Time Music Gathering (formerly the Happy Hollow Hootenanny).

Spend relaxed fall days jamming with your pals and attending hosted jams and workshops with well-known old-time musicians. On Friday and Saturday evenings, enjoy a concert followed by a square dance and community campfire. Camping is encouraged; the site has lots of gorgeous level ground in the scenic hills of Southeast Ohio.

Some of the folks hosting jams or holding workshops include Erynn Marshall, Carl Jones, Janie Rothfield, Allan Carr, Pete and Ellen Vigour, John Herrod, Paul Kirk, Whitt Mead and Hilarie Burhans, with more to be announced soon. Tickets and the full schedule will be coming this summer!
